The mission of innoFSPEC Potsdam is to perform fundamental research and develop innovative technological solutions for fibre sensing and multi-channel spectroscopy in astronomy and physical chemistry.
The center has the vision to become a worldwide leader in the development and application of innovative photonics in these areas. innoFSPEC Potsdam combines the skill of new chemical analysis methods with high-performance multi-object and multi-channel spectroscopy.
In addition to fundamental research innoFSPEC is actively promoting technology transfer, education, networking, and also regional and international cooperation with industry and scientific institutions.
